Turkish prayer times with iftar countdown, weather, exchange rates, recent earthquakes, calendar and Official Gazette boxes.

== Description ==

Ready-made data boxes for websites in Turkey, added without code through a shortcode, a block, a sidebar widget or an Elementor widget. The boxes are displayed in Turkish.

* **Prayer times** – all 81 provinces and 973 districts, with a countdown to the next prayer or to iftar (calculated with the Diyanet method)
* **Weather** – current conditions and up to a 7-day forecast (MET Norway)
* **Exchange rates** – USD, EUR, GBP and more against the Turkish lira
* **Recent earthquakes** – Turkey and surroundings, filtered by magnitude or province (EMSC)
* **Today and calendar** – Gregorian and Hijri date, upcoming public holidays
* **Official Gazette of the day** – laws, regulations and decisions in today's issue

Boxes render inside a Shadow DOM, so they neither break nor inherit your theme's styles. Light or dark theme and an accent color can be chosen. Each box shows the attribution of its data source.

= Shortcodes =

`[veriapi_namaz konum="duzce" sayac="iftar"]`
`[veriapi_hava konum="duzce-akcakoca" gun="5"]`
`[veriapi_doviz kodlar="USD,EUR,GBP"]`
`[veriapi_deprem adet="5" min_buyukluk="3"]`
`[veriapi_takvim]`
`[veriapi_resmigazete adet="5"]`

General form: `[veriapi tur="hava" konum="izmir" tema="koyu" renk="#0ea5e9"]`

= Elementor =

If Elementor 3.5 or later is active, a "VeriApi.Pro kutusu" widget appears in the General category of the Elementor panel, with the same options as the shortcodes. The editor shows a placeholder; the live box appears on the published page. Without Elementor nothing extra is loaded.

= Requirements =

A free VeriApi.Pro account and the **widget ID** from its dashboard. The widget ID is not your API key and is safe to appear in the page. The free plan includes 500 requests per day; box data may be served from a cache of up to 5 minutes.

== External services ==

This plugin connects to the **VeriApi.Pro** service (https://veriapi.pro) to display the data in its boxes. The service is operated by Kod8 Yazılım Teknolojileri Ticaret Limited Şirketi.

* **When:** each time a page containing a VeriApi.Pro box is opened in a visitor's browser.
* **What is sent:** the visitor's browser requests `https://veriapi.pro/w/veri/...` with your widget ID, the box settings (type, location, currency codes, etc.) and the standard data every browser request carries (IP address, your page's origin, user agent). No cookies are used and no personal data is requested.
* **Why:** to enforce your quota and domain restriction and to return the data.

Terms of use: https://veriapi.pro/kosullar
Privacy notice (KVKK): https://veriapi.pro/kvkk

The plugin makes no external requests from your server; the widget script ships with the plugin.

If your account is on the free plan, the service reads the page address set on your API key once a day to confirm that a VeriApi.Pro box is there.

== Installation ==

1. Install and activate the plugin.
2. Create a free account at https://veriapi.pro/panel/kayit
3. Copy your widget ID from the **Widget builder** page of the dashboard.
4. Paste it in **Settings → VeriApi.Pro** in WordPress and choose your default province.
5. Add the "VeriApi.Pro kutusu" block in the block editor, the widget of the same name in Elementor, or use a shortcode.

== Frequently Asked Questions ==

= What is the difference between the widget ID and the API key? =

The API key is secret and only used on servers. The widget ID is derived from the key, can only read widget data and is safe to show in the page. If you revoke the key, the widget stops as well.

= The box is empty =

Check that the widget ID in the settings page is correct. If you restricted the key to certain domains in the dashboard, your site's domain must be on that list.

= Is there a VeriApi.Pro link under the box? =

Not by default. The link is optional on every plan and only appears if you enable it in **Settings → VeriApi.Pro** or add `marka="goster"` to a box. The attribution of the data source (for example MET Norway or EMSC) is always shown, because the data licences require it.

= How often is the data updated? =

Earthquakes every 2 minutes, exchange rates every minute, weather every 5 minutes; prayer times are calculated. Boxes may be served from a cache of up to 5 minutes.
